Mary Magdalene’s message of abundant love

August 1st is traditionally the celebration of the grain, wheat and fruit harvests. Our ancestors honoured this moment as the wheel of the year turns, with community gatherings to give thanks for Mother Earth’s abundance and heart to heart connectedness.

We are rapidly moving beyond the constraints of contacted energies and the illusion of separation. And remembering that we truly are all connected, with the sacred vibration of love always present on Earth, weaving through everything.

We can pause to breathe deeply, sensing the heart beat of the Earth and how generous she is, as she nourishes us with her abundant gifts.

We can take a moment to become fully present in gratitude for the many blessings in our lives, for our sacred sisters and brothers and for our communities.

Mary Magdalene says:

“If you could see every one of your accomplishments, every one of your challenges that have brought you wisdom, every one of the moments that you have given love, every one  of the times that you have had the courage to speak your truth and shine your light, you would see a magnificent tree.

“This magnificent tree is laden with golden fruit that shimmer with light. And the fruit reminds you to pause, be still and know what you have already experienced, learnt, and let go of to move beyond limitations.

“I give you this image of the golden fruit in the branches of the magnificent tree to to help you remember that the path of love is filled with gratitude for the learnings  from all experiences, with thankfulness for luminous blessings, and with stillness to honour your own path, giving thanks for the love in your heart and the light that you shine.”

Heart soul questions for this time are:

What seeds of intentions did you plant that are now coming to fruition?

What, where and who are you holding in your heart to be nurtured with love?

Lammas is a time of deepest gratitude and may the luminous spiral of joyful abundance expand with love.

The return of the Sacred

At this new moon, we begin a beautiful harmonious time of returning to the Sacred.

We are moving beyond doctrine and dogma; beyond constriction and outdated ways of thinking, acting and being, that for so long, have kept us limited; confined within the illusion of separation and division.

We are moving beyond the toxic masculine patriarchal structures. As we rise together, reclaiming the sacred feminine and the sacred masculine, we are returning to the Sacred.

And we are activating the light codes of Love that Mary Magdalene and Yeshua seeded in sacred landscapes and springs, as we remember that we are all interconnected -  heart to heart -  in unity, kindness and compassion, with one another, with the Divine and with our Mother Earth.

This new moon is an auspicious time to make clear intentions that empower you to welcome and expand your sacred gifts for this time. Perhaps you would like to focus your intentions on the sacred wisdom that you hold, your beautiful work, your luminous presence, the places and people that matter so much.

This is so much more than multi-tasking!

You know what it's like when so many things are happening all at the same time - and each one of those things could easily take all your focus. But somehow you have to get them all moving, organised, checked, approved, publicised, shared, all at the same time. Some magical mastery to spin all the plates equally and simultaneously. Some fractal familiarity with being able to bilocate would help!

It seems that the huge wave of light-encoded energy that been inspiring many of us to create is becoming concentrated over these summer months. What we seeded has flourished and we are in the blessed place of honouring all of the work it has taken to be here now.

I am co-founder of the The Sacred Magdalene Festival happening in Glastonbury on 18-20 July. This is the fourth year and also includes the luminous Pilgrimage of Light to the Tor.

Mercury retrograde made me do it. A convenient excuse or a gift from the heavens?

When Mercury is retrograde, there seems to be a collective in-breath of anticipation about travel delays, problems with the internet, misunderstandings, perhaps saying something we really wish we hadn’t uttered in quite that tone…

“Mercury Retrograde made me do it” can be a very useful excuse!

The usual perception is that Mercury is a trickster, messing with our flow. But is he? Or is he actually a luminous ally?

Even though as a communicative and creative Gemini where Mercury, the planet, is in his happy place, I could find Mercury retrogrades disruptive and frustrating.  But I absolutely see him as the planet and the winged-messenger deity, offering shining mercurial alchemy.

Mercury retrogrades often provide the gift of going back over something; to hone and improve; seeing with fresh eyes what we thought was old ground, all done and dusted. And this gift of revisiting offers a useful opportunity to fine tune, to become clearer about intentions and actions.

In Roman myth, Mercury is the swift messenger of the gods, with wings on his heels and clear focus and intention in his mind, to discover more, to communicate, to create. Mercury is about the mind and the intellect, the curiosity to learn, the flow of thoughts, words and actions.

So at this time of Mercury retrograde, perhaps you would like to pause for a moment and consider what your thoughts throughout the day consist of. Are they creative, loving towards yourself and others? Or are they are self critical and judgmental of yourself or other people? Do you find that your thoughts are looping, filled with worries and concerns? Perhaps this Mercury retrograde is a gift from the heavens to decide to change your thoughts and elevate your vibration.

Mary Magdalene shares her message with me to communicate with others, about the importance of paying attention to our thoughts, words and actions.

“If you pause to consider what your thoughts are made of, it is possible to choose to create thoughts that are filled with kindness, generosity, compassion and love towards others and yourself. Words and actions follow your thoughts. They flow into your aura and your vibration. Are your thoughts filled with creativity, compassion and love, or concerns, self-criticism and judgement of others?

What aspects of yourself do you love and admire? And what do you see and honour in others?

What actions can benefit from looking at again with fresh eyes to discover more, to hone and improve?

Mary Magdalene offers a blessing of the Rose to be compassionate with yourself, to feel the softness of the petals and the uplifting perfume filling your aura, inviting you into a moment of calming stillness, settling down your nervous system, and bathing your aura in unconditional love of the Rose.

Mary’s Gold

Midsummer's night is such a liminal, magical time. And it offers us an opportunity to give our heartfull thanks to Mother Earth for all her nourishing beauty.

As we sense fairy realms and nature spirits weaving their harmonious golden threads of light, perhaps we can become even more aware of our own light too.

To honour Midsummer, today I carefully strained the oil I had co-created with marigold to make Mary's Gold sacred oil.

It is so radiant with the sacred feminine and golden solar vitality. It is uplifting, joyful and full of love. For me, this beautiful oil inspires the embodiment of the Shekinah, and an empoweringly resonant connection with Mary.

A lunar month ago, I began to infuse olive oil with calendul petals from my garden after filming our talk with the wonderful myrrhophore Felicity Warner. Mary’s Gold came up in conversation for the forthcoming We Rise Voices of the Sacred Feminine summit 2026. Which is coming soon!

I asked Felicity a question about Mary's Gold because it is a rare oil to find. And Felicity inspired me to co-create my own. I love how the Calendula flower generously offered her petals to infuse her energy and her vibration into the oil. Now in a Mary glass bottle, it feels glorious, bringing joyous celebration of divine light and wisdom.

We Rise Voices of the Sacred Feminine Summit

A year ago I received a message from Mary Magdalene to create a sacred feminine online summit. My vision was clear: to share sacred wisdom and bring inspiration to many people who feel the presence of Mary Magdalene and the divine feminine, guiding them to discover more - and deepen their connection not just with Mary Magdalene, but with themselves.

And so the We Rise Voices of the Sacred Feminine Summit 2025 was born, encouraged by Mary Magdalene’s light and wisdom.
